Fill a Shoebox for a College Student

We are continuing our ministry to keep “In Touch” with our college students at home and away. Throughout the year, I would like to send gift packages (envelope) full of goodies to each of our college students on a monthly basis. In addition to the gift packages, I also want to send notes or cards to let them know their home church is thinking about them.  more info . . .


 

 

 

 

Koinonia Class

The Koinonia Sunday School Class is starting a new study entitled “Christianity’s Family Tree: What Other Christians Believe and Why”.  This is an eight-week study written by a Methodist Pastor, Adam Hamilton.  It is a well-written book and should prompt a lot of interesting discussion.  If you are searching for an Adult Sunday School class, we invite you to join us.  The Koinonia Class meets in the sanctuary – so we have plenty of chairs!  Please contact Rob Beall with questions 4bealls@bellsouth.net.

Guatemala Mission


“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations... teaching them everything I have shown you." Inspired by these words of Jesus, several of our fellow Wesley Way
church members desire to share their faith in a hands-on way through a short term mission trip to Guatemala. While this mission trip is planned for August 2008, they are requesting that you be prayerful about the work they wish to do and the word they wish to spread. This team will witness what it is like to live in a third world country and have the opportunity to be a servant to people who can only repay such efforts with their gratitude.  Even if you are not personally traveling to Guatemala, there are still ways to support this important mission.  During the coming months, please pray for this mission team, their fundraising efforts and the work they desire to do in Guatemala.
